Hotel Olimpico is situated on the southern side of Salerno, in Pontecagnano Faiano, just a few meters from the sea. This is a quiet place that’s away from traffic and busy town center, the perfect spot for a family looking to spend their vacation somewhere that’s quiet, but friendly and welcoming. A family hotel in the ideal location, we’re right between the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento, 30 minutes from Pompeii and 20 minutes from Paestum, and you can reach the center of Salerno in a few minutes with our free shuttle. The service is great if you don’t have a car, or prefer to leave your car safely in the hotel, and take one of the frequent ferries and hydrofoils which are the best way to see the Amalfi Coast.
Hotel Olimpico is one of the best-known family hotels in the area, having its own private, sandy beach, with full comforts (sun loungers and umbrellas) and plenty of space for children to have fun in the sand. The hotel also has a large swimming pool split into two parts, the upper part for serious swimmers and the lower for children. Children can also take play in the playground beside the restaurant terrace while their parents enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner, within easy earshot.
Our large, elegant dining room welcomes guests each morning for a generous breakfast buffet, with sweet and savory options.The adjoining outdoor terrace overlooks the pool and from June to September there is a poolside bar. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building and Hotel Olimpico also has a private parking garage.
All rooms have been recently renovated and are equipped with the most modern comforts and services. Each room has a terrace or balcony, private bathroom with shower, LCD TV with Sky, free Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, minibar, and free air conditioning. Hotel Olimpico is a true family hotel, one of the few hotels on the Salerno coast with a private beach and swimming pool. The 20-meter pool, suitable for both adults and children, is surrounded by a sun deck and the palm trees of our Mediterranean garden.
