We’ll take you where you want to go, whenever you want

The free shuttle service to/from Salerno will get you to:

  • Porto Turistico (departures for Amalfi Coast, Positano and Ravello)
  • Porto Molo Manfredi (departures for Capri and Ischia)
  • Salerno train station (departures for Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento)

Ferry times and rates

Shuttle service hours:

  • Departure: morning: 7:30 am – 8:40 am – 09.50 am / afternoon: 2 pm – 4:30 pm – 6:10 pm – 7:10 pm (departing from hotel entrance)
  • Return: from 2:30 pm until 8 pm corresponding with ferry arrival times (departure from Piazza della Concordia for those returning from Amalfi and Positano – departure from the steps by the mooring point for those coming from Capri)

When the shuttle is not available:

  • Local bus: times and tickets available at the hotel reception
  • Taxi: our staff will be happy to book a taxi for you

One reason why many of our guests keep coming back to the Hotel Olimpico is that we are one of the only hotels in Salerno offering a free shuttle to the center of Salerno. From there you can take a train for Pompeii, Sorrento and Naples, or from the harbor you can hop on a boat for the Amalfi Coast and Capri.

The shuttle runs every day from April to October and during other months upon request.
